The Healer - 11"x14" / $400 Mixed Media / Scratchboard

The technique I used to do this piece is to use an etching tool to "scratch out" the white areas from the black scratchboard service. The healer stretches out his arms toward the white light source of his power. I collaged the bird, always a symbol of freedom and movement, and other symbols that make up his garment.
